Jason Cone is the former executive director of the US affiliate of DoctorsWithout Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), one of the largest medical humanitarian organizations in the world--whose US operations involved over 200 staff and $370 million in annual revenue--operating in more than 70 countries affected by armed conflicts, epidemics, and natural disasters. Jason was MSF’s chief spokesperson and negotiator with cabinet-level officials in the Obama and Trump administrations on issues ranging from humanitarian aid and access to medicines, to immigration and counterterrorism. Over 15 years with MSF-USA, he conducted field assignments in Colombia, El Salvador, Gaza and the West Bank,Haiti, Jordan, Lebanon, Liberia, Mexico, Myanmar, South Sudan, Thailand, andTurkey. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
